After downloading PixiVideo for your Joomla Version....
Unzip the package to a folder on your hard drive. You will have 1 component and 2 plugins to install.
For Joomla 1.5
For Joomla 2.5
For Joomla 3.0
After successfully installing the component and plugins, navigate to Components > Pixi Video
In top right corner click Options or Parameters, depending on your Joomla version.
For Joomla 3.0 it is in the top left corner.
This is where you will set your path to your videos that you can upload to your server via ftp.
You will now need to create a directory on your server to keep your videos in. It can be named anything, anywhere you want it.
To enter the path correctly in the Global Configuration notice there is no leading /
For example, www.yoursite.com/uploads/videos will be entered as above.
That is all there is to set up in the component.
